We’ve been learning lately how to be, during these times and a great visual to represent that is the safety bubble. Everyone is going thru this together yet apart is where we find our safety. Home, surrounded in our own bubble during 2020 feels safe.

Staying busy at home and learning new things online is currently my day to day, so for this new YouTube video/art project color pencils were used on water color paper with a final digital modification in Adobe Photoshop to enhance the color blue. The digital image was then sent out to be printed onto canvas with a box frame included to keep it solid. This art project took 2 hours to create and also record video with two cameras in good lighting (Camera02 failed) and a total of 43 hours of video editing, plus 5 days shipping to receive the actual canvas final art.

Creating Content For YouTube

Graphic Design during a Pandemic, um . . . . not a good vocation. YouTuber, learning to create content for viewing maybe better? It is certainly fun. My Pandemic at home with YouTube has been interesting, discovering other streamers or YouTubers on the internet who are creating video and creating product has attracted my attention. If safety is found at home alone, then on the internet is where we can reach outward to be together with others; in the digital way, online and LIVE.

I realize that this artwork and video seems “Preachy” but it is what I am creating these days, my own art or writings and if you know me, then you know that I am not a writer, explaining what I create is also new to me. Speaking into a microphone is new. I draw things, yet learning is the current hat I wear and I am truly interested in learning how to make better YouTube videos. This project, the Chromatic Path Episode 3 video had an objective; to create a single piece of art within a limited time, video the event from two angles (in good lighting), edit the video, create a voiceover, add animations and in the end upload it to YouTube. Sounds easy right? The camera two video cut out, so that was a technical glitch that lost all footage. Camera one was good enough to use though, lessons were learned and the following image is a direct link to the Chromatic Path Episode #3 YouTube video. Enjoy.

Making Products For Online Sales

The objective was to create something original and to deliver an art project which could be duplicated on canvas at various sizes and ultimately be purchasable at a reasonable price. The 12” x 12” is priced at $50 and that is a great place to start. Shipping cost not included.
